Flowers in Krakow even have their own special day. It is called “Wianki” (“wreaths”) and takes place by the Vistula River every year on the day of the summer solstice. The event is very popular and is graced by musicians' performances. During the event, one can also attend wreath-weaving workshops and nature/science exhibitions. As the authors are flower lovers and are inspired by this project, they will certainly go to this celebration, which will take place in a few weeks. They also encourage all guests of the blog to enjoy the atmosphere of Krakow bathed in flowers there.
